The most widely represented sector in our portfolio, which also follows from the nature of our economy and business opportunities. We primarily provide assistance in relation to a mid-term and long-term financing, with the maturity of loans ranging from 2 to 30 years. A financing entity does not monitor the value of lien only, but it primarily monitors the sources of repayment and their sustainability.
Types of financed projects include retail and residential projects, leisure, administration, logistics and social services projects.
Basic types of financing
- Long-term investment loan to finance construction or to refinance the already existing premises and buildings (5 to 25 years)
- Mid-term investment loan for construction (2 to 4 years)
- Short-term overdraft for financing VAT
- Pre-financing of EU funds
Energy
Long-term projects financed on the principles of standard project financing. The main source of income is electricity production at fixed purchase price guaranteed by the state. In the case of thermal energy, we assess new heat sources as well as reconstructions of the existing heat infrastructures (including PPP projects).
Types of financed projects include photovoltaic, biogas, biomass and small hydroelectric power plants. Further, steam-gas cycle and geothermal energy.

Agriculture
Operational funding prevails, but the financing of acquisitions in this segment is becoming more frequent.
Basic types of financing
- Direct payments – financing secured by the amount of subsidies, which are annually allocated in proportion to cultivated hectares of land.
- Financing commodities – financing the purchase of basic types of agricultural types of goods
- Financing land purchase – financing the purchase of agricultural land, which the annual allocation of subsidies can be applied to.
- Financing agricultural cooperatives – refinancing part of own sources invested in the purchase of a cooperative after optimisation.

- Long-term funded projects of the development of water supply networks and energy networks, which also include PPP projects
- Technological, media and telecommunication infrastructure
- Data and communication centres
- Others, for instance waste management, public lighting or infrastructure maintenance
